About Eibhlín Eddy

Originally from Northern Ireland, Eibhlín has recently completed her undergraduate studies in Vocal Studies and Opera at the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with first-class honours. Over the past five years, she has maintained a vibrant professional schedule across the United Kingdom, building a reputation for versatility, creativity, and expression.

Eibhlín is an experienced consort and solo singer, and now based in London, she is proud to have been selected as a Voces8 Scholar and a St Martin's Voices Emerging Artist for this academic year, alongside taking part in other young artist programmes, such as Genesis Sixteen and Vox Urbane Next Generation Artists. 

 Eibhlín often performs with groups such as Kantos Chamber Choir in Manchester, and while studying, she appeared alongside the Edvard Grieg Korene with the RNCM Chamber Choir on multiple occassions. She was an alto scholar with the Diocese of Manchester for two years, and is also a founding member of Ventis Vocal Ensemble. With Ventis, she is dedicated to exploring and performing a wide variety of world folk music across England, aiming to bring this music to as many new audiences as possible.

Eibhlín works regularly as a soloist, specialising in baroque music and oratorio. With one core focus being on historically informed performance and early music however, Eibhlín equally champions contemporary works and traditional folk music. In Manchester, she took part in a collaborative projet with the Clod Ensemble in the Victoria Baths, which combined choral arrangments, movement and electronics to create an immersive experience, and she also premiered two contemporary chamber works by Lucy Hale and Kámea Nemeth.

In March 2026, Eibhlín created, produced and directed a multi-media collaborative project, "Darkness Into Light", working with professional choral singers in Manchester, award-winning Northern Irish Artist Janice Ligtowler, and Manchester based poets Danny McLoughlin and Seán Fitton. 

Eibhlín's dynamic approach to music allows her to move effortlessly between consort and folk performances, contemporary scores, and solo repertoire.
